Nonstop Flights to Eilat from Paris and London

Here’s a little something I read in The Jerusalem Post (thanks, Nathan Burstein)…
Sun D’Or Airlines to start weekly nonstop Paris-Eilat flights on October 28th. The Sunday flights – morning down, afternoon return - will be part of a package offered by the Isrotel hotel chain known as the Isrotel Sun Express. A second plane will be added during Christmas, February, and Passover (busy travel dates).

Also, Israir plans to start weekly nonstop flights to Eilat during the first week of November.

Israir - great for short flights

did Israir get their planes from a Spanish airline? I ask because there's Spanish on the back of the seats. I know because I flew from Tel Aviv to Eilat.

seats were tight and close - 50 on the plane, I think. staff friendly. orange juice drink delicious. I did not see the onboard torah scroll (the Sky Torah). don't know about that? read here.

anyhoo, bottom line: Israir is good for short flight. fly it. can't imagine what more than 1 hour squuezed into those seats would have been like - my orange drink would have needed an additive.

Terminal 1 at Ben Gurion is a quick bus from the international terminals and the bus-drivers are cool and prioritize by connecting flight time. or maybe we got lucky.

Domestic Airline: Israir

I did notice there was another domestic airline when I was planning our flight from Ben Gurion to Eilat, but I chose Israir because I really enjoyed their website.
What does that say about me? It says I trust things/people who seem smart. And user-friendly somehow = smart, or at least well thought out which is something I value in an airline.
We'll see how smart I am very soon.
By the way, CSJ's cousin felt fine with my choice.
Israir also flies to New York City and London.
